Dates for this summer retreats are now available.
Once Becky Sherwood got married, her husband, Travis Sherwood, continued to feed her love for horses. As well as, encouraging the education that has driven her never-ending appetite for the inner and outer workings of the human and the horse.
Becky Sherwood graduated Massage therapy in 2004 to become a fully registered massage therapist. From there, the information gathering continued. In 2008, Becky met a gentleman at her family home and after watching him perform bodywork on a horse, the start of her horse bodywork chase for knowledge began. The drive for knowledge was immediate! When she asked this man to share his knowledge with her, he replied “No”. She promised to not disappoint him with her ability to learn and understand and it was all in from there.
Between adding knowledge, working on many horses, and learning what works and what to modify, body balancing became a successful program on its own that is ever-evolving.
When the Minkler energy balancing course was available, Becky took the opportunity to learn from brilliant teachers and a wonderful program. Becky is honored to be granted permission to share that knowledge through teaching others. They gave her the opportunity to take a horse body balance program that James Minkler had started before his passing. His family offered her the opportunity to take that information and expand on it, giving her the continuing information to become the Equine Education program you see here.
This is an accumulation of information that makes for a program that is efficient and proven to create a healthier balanced horse.
Becky has had the privilege to take many different courses throughout the years and they have given her the context to create and build new avenues of health and wellness for both humans and horses.
Information gathered should be information shared. Becky's program will be forever evolving as the vast information out there is too great to harness.
